Adventure Week

Last week was adventure week. Each day there was a new activity to participate in they were all
very fun and you got to choose which one to do for each day.  

I picked Cooking for day one in the morning and ice skating for the afternoon.
I was pretty good at Ice Skating, I could go really fast and I bet Clara :) 

For day two, I picked Christmas Baking cos I really like cooking.
Then I played cards with Nevaeh, Jaime, Nabraska and Mosi. 

For day three I picked surfing which was really fun. We went to Sumner and the waves were enormous.
I was really nervous because I thought I would get smashed by the waves. And I did get smashed, alot. 

But I did catch quite a lot too. I tried to convince Mosi to come out with me but she doesn't like the big
waves so I just let her bob around in the shallows with Milly.

On Thursday we went to Jelly park with our class and on Friday we had rumbustification day.  
So I had a a pretty good week.

Novel Study

1. What part would you change in the story? Why?
I’d change the part when Max kills Ari because after, she finds out that he's her half brother, and she feels guilty about that for the rest of the book.

2. In a good paragraph, state the main idea of the book. I reckon the main idea of this book series is to entertain. The author takes you on a massive whirlwind of a journey that leaves you hanging on to his every word and drooling in suspense. They're truly immaculate and I'd read them over and over. One thing I love about the series is that there not written in adult language, even though the author is an adult. There written as though by Maximum Ride herself (in teenage language). There may be a little bit of persuasion, the author does spim some global warming information into the tale. So he could also be wanting to give us knowledge on the deterioration of Earth. But yeah, I'm pretty sure he's just wanting to entertain us. And maybe he also wrote them for his own entertainment, I do think it must of been a fun series to write.

Rubiks Cube Thing

This is a 3x3 cube that I made that really frustrated me. We had to have 27 cubes with 3 cubes of 9 colours.
We had to make a cube with each side having every colour. Very annoying. In the end, it was fun.

Tessellations In Maths

This term we have been learning about tessellations. Tessellations are when you can have an arrangement of shapes fitted closely together without their being gaps or any overlapping. This a drawing I made with tessellation. Pretty cool huh?

Awsome Maths

This term we've been working on geometry. We are learning how to draw 3d shapes on isometric paper.

It's been challenging for me because I can't draw.
